ABOUT THE EVENT:

Premio Lo Nuestro is an annual awards ceremony presented by the television network Univision. It honors outstanding achievements in the Latin music industry. The awards show recognizes artists in various categories, including pop, tropical, regional Mexican, urban, and more.

The ceremony features live performances by popular Latin artists. Premio Lo Nuestro has become one of the most prestigious awards ceremonies in the Latin music world, celebrating the diversity and talent within the industry.

As an Awards Show Talent Wrangler/Usher for Univision Premio Lo Nuestro in Miami, you’ll be responsible for coordinating and guiding celebrities, ensuring a seamless event experience with precision and professionalism.

MICRO-INTERNSHIP ROLES:

  • Talent Ushers work with the production team to help escort performers and presenters to and from various locations within the venue and on the red carpet. They will learn the operational functions of the venue. This includes routes, dressing rooms, stages, security checkpoints, credentials, artist transportation, media, and more.
  • Students will learn how to interact with artists and their camps while following a show run-down. They will be required to wear a headset and radio to communicate with the Logistics Team.
  • The workdays may be very long (6-12 plus hours/day), and the schedule will vary based on the production needs and artist assigned to them. Talent Ushers must not have any commitments on their scheduled rehearsal day or show day.

KEY DATES:

  • Saturday, Feb. 3rd at 12:00 PM EST Zoom interview:  sign-ups via the registration site which will be sent out in January (group interview and overview – approximately 3 hours)
  • Sunday, Feb. 18th (No rehearsals – will only need you on this day if you are available and assigned to work Monday morning Feb. 19th)
  • Monday, Feb.19th (rehearsal day)
  • Tuesday, Feb. 20th (rehearsal day)
  • Wednesday, Feb.21st (rehearsal day)

**Students must be available for one (1) rehearsal day with no conflicts. 

 

  • SHOW DAY: Thursday, Feb. 22nd, ALL DAY!!  ▪ (estimated 10-14hrs)
    **Students must be available to work the entire show day with no other commitments.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 18+ years old
  • Must be able to pass a background check if required
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States (Original I-9 documents required)
  • Valid ID with photo (State Issued) or Valid US Passport
  • Reliable Transportation
  • Punctuality (must be on time or early and available for full days as stated above)
  • English is a Must and Bilingual (English+Spanish) is a plus, but not a requirement
  • Able to stand and walk for long periods at a time or up/down stairs without assistance
